The region displayed is an attracting region for the value of their natural resources and cultural atmosphere. The map does not include the actual accessible places. There are some preserve areas for indigenous tribes and also areas where armed conflict/ drug processing takes place. If those areas where displayed we would be able to understand who controls the area, the government or the armed groups.
The present maps gives the impression that the hole region displayed has been explored which is highly controversial since the state does not have access to the mountain areas where the indigenous tribes lives.
