Andy Wilson is a senior researcher at Microsoft Research. He was doing Kinect-like projects before the Kinect came out. This one in particular involves a digital rc car being controlled by xbox wireless controller driving around in digital world. That digital terrain you are navigating can be altered by placing physical objects on the projection surface. The physics of the car changes as ramps, blocks, and mounds are introduced. This is a great example of table top digital gaming that will be the future.
