13 Assasins

This project uses data collected from Takashi Miike’s 2010 movie 13 Assasins (Jûsan-nin no shikaku). We used two Processing sketches: one to measure key strokes while watching the movie to record the three different types of attacks – swords, stones and arrows – and the the other to visualize the information.

We tried using the P5 library to include a counter but it falls outside the area of the draw function (the text on the left side is created by the P5 library but we couldn’t get it to show the sword, arrow and stone count).
