BOX & OSCAR is a character animation study using the STUDIO’s Universal Robotics UR5 and a custom written openFrameworks application.   This semester I have been working more with 3D character animations and this is a continuation of this work.  I wanted to imbue the robotic arm with a personality and make it less robotic.

Below are debug views of the openFrameworks application used to create the KeyFramed animations.  The source code for this project can be found on my Github. The project will soon be released as two different addons ofxURDriver and ofxRoboticArm.  ofxRoboticArm is a universal framework of classes created to interface with a robotic arm.  ofxURDriver is the Universal Robotics Modern Driver for ROS wrapped to be an openFrameworks addon.
